Economist Lori Kletzer was interviewed by the BBC's Weekend World Today show about Ford Motor Company's job cuts.

Jerry Nelson, professor of astronomy and astrophysics and director of the Center for Adaptive Optics, was quoted in a Los Angeles Times story about the advances in astronomy made possible by adaptive optics technology.

Rob Fairlie of economics says media calls come in flurries. Most recently, he has fielded calls from the Chicago Sun Times about minority entrepreneurship, Bloomberg News about recent high unemployment rates among African Americans, and USA Today about business ownership trends among Asians and blacks.

Arboretum director Daniel Harder was mentioned in a Los Angeles Times story about the discovery of a new conifer species in Vietnam by an international team of botanists, including Harder.

Paul Ortiz of community studies discussed his new book of oral histories about living under Jim Crow on KUSP Radio.
