"Muslims in the Middle: Ethnic Profiling, Civil Rights, and America's Muslim Communities" is the title of a event on November 27 featuring Agha Saeed, president of the American Muslim Alliance. This event was cancelled because Agha Saeed was invited to attend a meeting that day with President Bush about the future of South Asia. Efforts are under way to reschedule Saeed's appearance at UCSC. More

Professors Daniel Wirls, Michael Brown, and Vanita Seth will discuss U.S. domestic policy implications of the crisis on November 5. More

In a noon event on November 6, a faculty member will share information on Islam and Muslim societies.
