Steven Allison
Steven Allison, who was part of the Financial Information Systems technical support team in CATS, died June 7 after a yearlong illness; he was 55.
A UCSC alumnus (Kresge '76), Steve graduated with a double major in biology and psychology. He began his career as a programmer analyst in 1980 and took a position with CATS in July 1999, where he worked until his death.
Outside of work, Steve was an avid birder and enjoyed restoring vintage Alpha Romeos.
A Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Community, 435 Monterey Ave., Capitola. Contributions in Steve's name may be made to the John Wayne Cancer Institute, 2200 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404-2301.
