Assistant Professor Politics Department Vanita Seth is a political theorist whose interests include feminist theory, race as a historical concept, postcolonial and postmodern theory, and nationalism. Her dissertation explores European constructions of cultural difference from the 16th through the 19th centuries, with a focus on colonial representations of indigenous America and subcontinental India. Seth earned her B.A. in government from the University of Sydney and her doctorate in political science from the University of Melbourne. |
