Many concert-goers
attended the Youth Symphony performance decked out in elaborate Halloween regalia.
Following the performance, they were invited to participate in a costume contest
judged by (from background to foreground) the devilish Westianne Paulson, Chancellor
Greenwood, and Lisa Anderson. Paulson, a UCSC student, is secretary of the Youth
Orchestra. Anderson is a member of the board of the Live Oak Elementary School District.
