Operation of NASA's Airborne Sensor Facility, a major
program for observation and monitoring of Earth's environment, is being
taken over by UCSC. The sensor facility based at the NASA Ames Research
Center in Moffett Field supports NASA programs as well as researchers
at universities and government agencies. [More]
The Cowell Press and Its Legacy: 1973-2004,
focusing on the history and impact of the legendary press at UCSC, has
been published. A reception celebrating the oral history's publication and the Cowell Press
