Alumni found in all walks of life on the Central Coast

When UCSC alumni gather for this weekend's Banana Slug Spring Fair reunion, some won't have to travel far at all. That's because so many graduates--including Matt Koumaras with the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Cruz--have stayed in the area to become a part of the culture and community of the Central Coast region.

Peregrine falcons released to the wild at Long Marine Lab

Three six-week-old falcons raised in a captive breeding program are being released to the wild by the Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group. Visitors to Long Marine Lab will have the chance to watch the birds learn to live in the wild. [More]
