Peregrine falcons take flight at Long Marine Lab

Three young male falcons raised in a large aviary are being released into the wild, using a "hack box" at the Center for Ocean Health building at Long Marine Lab as their base. UCSC Genome Browser provides portal to finished human genome sequence
As leaders of the Human Genome Project announced the project's successful completion at a press conference today in Bethesda, Md., UCSC bioinformatics researchers made the completed reference sequence of the human genome publicly available on the web-based UCSC Genome Browser.
