Psychologist: Diversity diminishes prejudice
With
affirmative action in the national spotlight, UCSC psychologist Thomas
Pettigrew has weighed in with an exhaustive review of more than 500 studies
on the topic of prejudice. Ninety-four percent of the studies showed that
contact with members of other groups reduces prejudice, a figure that
