Holidays get glowing start with lighting of whale skeleton

Whale skeleton aglow with lights

The 87-foot blue whale skeleton at Long Marine Lab's Seymour Center is aglow with 900 feet of Christmas lights. A festive whale-lighting ceremony on Sunday kicked off the holiday season, and the lights will go on each afternoon as part of the center's holiday celebration. More
