A Sunset magazine item on "5 great stores for creative gifts" included Norrie's Gift Shop at the Arboretum, along with a photo of the shop (see Currents article on Norrie's December discount for faculty and staff).

Pennsylvania's The Morning Call quoted history of consciousness professor Angela Davis in an article about a lecture she presented at Lafayette's Colton Chapel titled, "Reflecting on our History: How Activism and Diversity Changed Higher Education."
