November 17 meeting to look at Draft Bike Plan
A public meeting for the Draft 2006 Bike Plan will be held
on Friday, November 17, at Bay Tree Conference Room C, from
4:30 to 6 p.m. The meeting will include a presentation from
Larry Pageler, codirector of Transportation and Parking Services.
The meeting is a second opportunity for the campus community
to provide comment on the draft 2006 UCSC Bike Plan. Faculty,
staff, and students are encouraged to learn about and comment
on the campus's framework to improve and encourage bicycle use
on and around the campus. The general public is also welcome.
The Draft 2006 UCSC Bike Plan is available online. An updated project list (not yet available online) will be available at the meeting. Comments on the Draft 2006 Bike Plan will be received until 5 p.m., December 18.
