Child care spaces open up

Child Care and Early Education Services has immediate openings in several groups:

• Toddlers (about 14 to 24 months): 1 half-day afternoon space

• Moon Room (about 24 months to 36 months): five full-time spaces and three half-time afternoon spaces

• Children’s Center (Pre-K, age 4): five full-time, two half-time afternoon

In addition, two full-time spaces in the toddler group are expected in January.

Availability changes frequently, so interested families are encouraged to get on waiting lists soon for future openings in a program that matches their needs.

Child Care and Early Education Services is now raising funds to support programs and the upgrading of the Granary’s play yards. A Scholastic Book Fair in the Family Center will take place at Family Student Housing, 712. The fair will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 13, 14, and 16, and from 4 to 6:30 p.m. November 13, 15, and 17.

Year-round, empty inkjet and laser cartridges may be sent via campus mail to Child Care Services as part of an eco-friendly fundraising program.
