Arts faculty included in exhibit of outdoor
painting at Museum of Art and History
UCSC faculty are among the artists who will be showing their
work in the courtyard of the Museum
of Art and History (MAH) on Saturday and Sunday, July 8
and 9. The exhibit, titled Plein Air Affaire 2006: Outdoor Painting
in Scenic Santa Cruz County, includes more than 150 paintings
by 47 artists. The event includes demonstrations and work for
sale.
Noah
Buchanan, Frank
Galuszka, and Jennie
McDade, all Art Department faculty, and Charles
Prentiss, a recent artist-in-residence on campus, are among

Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9: Plein air
paintings on display at Abbott Square (museum courtyard) during
free public art exhibition, demonstration, and sale from 11
a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, July 9: Art workshop for kids on landscape
