Economist Mike Dooley was featured in the
Financial Times.
Dooley has cofounded a capital management group that specializes
in emerging markets,
in keeping with his analysis of the global economy.
The San Francisco Chronicle featured literature
professor Nathaniel Mackey in a story/interview
about his work as a poet.
In an article about Korean educators impressed by the "open
classroom" philosophy
of a local school, the Salt Lake City Tribune cited a
book by psychology's
Barbara Rogoff.
The Pantagraph ran a story about a talk that history
of consciousness professor Angela Davis gave at
Illinois Wesleyan University in celebration of Black History Month.
The Santa Cruz Sentinel ran a front-page story about
UCSC's standing as a leader in the national spoken-word
movement; the campus's poetry slam team won the gold medal
at the national college championships in 2005 and last week hosted
a series of workshops and performances.
