Aída Hurtado to read from her book
at Bay Tree Bookstore February 1
Aída Hurtado will read from her new book, Chicana/o Identity in a Changing U.S. Society, (University of Arizona Press), at noon on Thursday, February 1, at the Bay Tree Bookstore.
Hurtado is a professor of psychology and director of the UCSC Chicano/Latino Research Center, and wrote the book with Patricia Gurin of the University of Michigan. Hurtado will be available to sign copies after the reading. All of her books will be 20 percent off on February 1 at the bookstore.
The event is cosponsored by the Bay Tree Bookstore and the Chicano/Latino Resource Center. Light refreshments will be provided.
