Michael Hutchison gives conference keynote in Brussels

Michael Hutchison, professor of economics and interim dean of the Division of Social Sciences, spoke at the second annual research conference of the European Commission's Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN). Hutchison discussed "Financial Stability and the Convergence Process in Europe." The conference took place in Brussels, Belgium.

Hutchison also gave the keynote address at the Education Abroad Program (EAP) Economics and Business Workshop on "Globalization: Economics and Business Education Trends Around the World." The workshop was held at UC Irvine on October 14.
