Doctoral candidate Kea Gorden receives Fulbright
Kea Gorden, a doctoral candidate in politics, has received
a Fulbright to study and conduct research in South Africa.
Gorden is one of more than 1,000 students who will travel abroad
for the 2005-06 academic year through the Fulbright Program,
which was established in 1946 to build understanding between
the people of the United States and the rest of the world. The
Fulbright Program is sponsored by the United States Department
of State. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic or
professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership
potential in their fields.
