UCSC lecturer elected to council of Latin American Studies Association

Guillermo Delgado-P., a lecturer in Latin American and Latino studies, was recently elected to the executive council of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA). He will serve as an active member during the 2006-08 term. With about 5,000 members, LASA is the international professional association for individuals and institutions engaged in the study of Latin America.
