Rec class on 'virtues of veggies'
Enjoy an evening of preparing recipes from around the world
with all organic vegan ingredients. In Virtues of Veggies, offered
by UCSC Recreation,
instructor Radha Vignola will teach you how to prepare Japanese
spring rolls with sweet sticky sauce, French fried yams dipped
in spicy peanut sauce, tempeh 'neatloaf,' all-raw almond pate
served with nori and greens, and blueberry muffins. Radha, a
state certified nutrition educator and consultant, is the queen
of easy, fast, and healthy veggie cuisine.
The class is on Thursday, May 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the UCSC
Women's Center. The cost is $25, which includes instruction
