Biologist Barry Sinervo was featured in an article in
the Santa Cruz Sentinel about his research on a salamander--possibly
a new species--that lives in the caves on campus.
The Mid-County Post and Sea Technology ran stories
about research on marine mammals by Daniel Costa, professor
of ecology and evolutionary biology, and graduate student Michael
Weise.
Research to develop new biosensor technology led by electrical
engineer Holger Schmidt was covered in the Santa Cruz
Sentinel, Nanotechnology Now, and Laser Focus World.
An article in the International Herald Tribune about
the official time standard included quotes from Steven Allen,
a programmer/analyst for UCO/Lick Observatory.
