Recreation registration begins April 5

The spring 2005 Recreation, Intramural and Sports Guide has classes and trips for every interest. Register this week for surfing, kayaking, rockclimbing, backpacking, ski trips, massage and other holistic health classes, music, dance, knitting, cooking, survival skills, wilderness first aid, CPR and much more. A complete list of classes is at www.ucsc.edu/opers/rec or pick up a copy of the guide.

Beginning surfing classes are among the spring offerings from the Recreation Department.

Registration for UCSC students begins on Tuesday, April 5, at 9 a.m. at the Recreation Office at the East Field House. Phone-in registration for everyone begins on Thursday, April 7, at 9 a.m. Call (831) 459-2806. You may register over the phone with a major credit card. If you are not a UCSC student, be prepared to pay an additional fee.
