classes
The Wellness Center is offering a variety of classes this spring.

Office/Home Exercise for Busy People: Learn how to complete
a quick, full-body workout in any environment while barely breaking
a sweat. Participants will receive an exercise tube and a door
anchor to take with them. Tuesday, March 8, noon - 1 p.m.; Bay
Tree Conference Room D; $15.
Pilates: A smooth, flowing exercise routine designed
to increase your core strength, energy and flexibility as well
as improve your posture. For all levels. Two 4-week classes.
Class 1: April 12 - May 3; Tuesdays, noon - 1 p.m.; Activities
Room; $20 with Wellness Card/$40 without
Class 2: April 14 - May 5; Thursdays, noon - 1 p.m.; Activities
Room; $20 with Wellness Card/$40 without.
The following drop-in classes are available to Wellness Card
and day-pass holders:
Drop-In Aqua Aerobics: (all levels) with instructor
Tammy Chinn;
Tuesdays 5 - 6 p.m. and Thursdays noon - 1 p.m. beginning March
29; East Field House Pool
Drop-In Iyengar Yoga: (all levels) with instructor Abbey
Asher;
Fridays, beginning April 1, noon - 1 p.m.; West Gym (within
college 8);
Wellness Card holders only, no day passes allowed for this class
Tri-Yoga: (all levels) with instructor Don Bard; this
very popular on-going class will continue throughout the spring.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, noon - 1 p.m.; Martial Arts
