Volunteers needed to restore sites
UCSC's
Site Stewardship Program and Natural
Reserves need weekend volunteers for several projects in
January.
Great meadow: Weeding restoration in the Great Meadow
will be done on January 29. Volunteers will meet at the Music
Center loading dock off Meyer Drive below University House at
10 a.m. and work until 2 p.m. For more information or to RSVP,

Planting days: Native plant revegetation will be undertaken
January 9, 22, and 30 at the Younger Lagoon Reserve. Volunteers
should meet at the UCSC Barn Theater at 10 a.m. at the base
of campus to carpool to Younger Lagoon, and work until 2 p.m.

Water and lunch (snacks and juice) will be provided at both
sites. Layered clothing, warm jackets, hats, sunscreen, and
