Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation to feature Joseph Lowery on Jan. 10

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Convocation will be held at 7 p.m. January 10 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.

The Rev. Joseph Lowery, who helped found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference with Martin Luther King Jr. in 1957 and led the organization for 20 years, will be the keynote speaker.

The event is free and open to the public.
