Lecturer's book moves 'Beyond Superwoman'

Book coverThe work/life patterns of successful women who have rejected the "Superwoman syndrome" are explored in a new book coauthored by UCSC lecturer Peggy Downes Baskin. Beyond Superwoman is based on interviews with Silicon Valley executives and leaders in academia and government, including Donna Dubinsky, founder of Palm Pilot; Kathy Levinson, president of E*Trade; M.R.C. Greenwood, chancellor of UCSC; Kathleen Sullivan, dean of Stanford Law School; Susan Hammer, former mayor of San Jose; Jackie Speier, California State senator; and Ann Livermore, vice-president of Hewlett-Packard.
